Overview
The DAB Tesla 4" submersible motor at 1-1/2 HP is a 3-wire single-phase motor designed for higher-demand residential and light commercial well systems where greater power is required for deeper wells or higher flow rates. The 3-wire design requires a matched control box for capacitor-start operation, providing reliable protection and starting performance. Rated at 230V 60 Hz for North American installations.
The motor features a stainless steel outer shell and is CSA certified for Canadian and US service. Designed for use with DAB S4 4" stainless steel pump ends and compatible 4" well casing assemblies. A matched DAB control box is required and sold separately. Suitable for clean potable water applications.
