ULTRAKLEAR 2500 28-WATT HIGH-OUTPUT UV BULB

ULTRAKLEAR 2500 28-WATT HIGH-OUTPUT UV BULB -- genuine Aquascape replacement part for your pond equipment.

This genuine Aquascape replacement UV lamp maintains the sterilizing performance of your UV clarifier or filter unit. UV lamps lose germicidal output effectiveness over time -- even when still illuminated -- with output typically dropping below effective levels after 8,000-10,000 hours. Annual replacement is strongly recommended to maintain control of suspended algae, bacteria, and pathogens.

Always handle UV lamps carefully -- avoid touching the glass surface with bare hands, as skin oils reduce UV transmission. Turn off the unit and allow it to cool completely before replacing. Dispose of used UV lamps according to local regulations for mercury-containing lamps.
